How To Determine If Your Backpack Or Handbag Is The Cause Of Your Back Pain

Evidently, there are a lot of ways to deal with back pain but there are also a lot of things that cause this problem. Back pain has already become one of the most common problems that many people are suffering from. So if you are one of these people, you should not let back pain to greatly affect your life. You have to look for some remedies that would help you improve your condition.

Basically, determining and identifying the main causes of your back pain is the only key for you to be able to find the best solution for your condition. So if you want to get rid of this problem, you have to take note of the things that your always do every day, the foods that you eat, the things that you carry around and more.

If you always carry a backpack or handbag filled with different stuffs that you need at work or at school, then you can consider this as one of the possible causes of your back pain. Bags like backpacks and handbags are really necessary because they will allow you to carry a lot of things without using your hands.

You can place your laptop, books and so much more inside your bag and you can then go off to work or to school. Bags are really something that can somehow make your life a bit easier. But as mentioned earlier, carrying a heavy bag daily may cause some problems. If you have noticed, when you are carrying a heavy backpack, you tend to lean forward in order to walk properly. This is why it may cause back pain.

On the other hand, there are some things that you will be able to do to avoid carrying your bag to become the cause of back pain. First of all, you have to make sure that your bag only contains the needed stuffs. In this way, you will be able to reduce the weight that you have to carry every day. Remember that your bag should not exceed or reach about 15 percent of your body weight.

And of course, you have to get a bag that has good padding, especially if you are using a backpack. It should have a good back padding and strap padding to reduce strain. In addition, make sure that you are going to use the waist/hip belt because this is designed to ensure that the weight is close to your back.

But if you do not always carry a backpack or any types of bag, then you cannot put the blame on your bag. You have to take a look into some other things that can possibly cause your back pain like your position when sleeping/sitting, your weight, your lifestyle, the nature of your work and some other possible causes. Bear in mind that carrying heavy backpacks may not only be the cause of back pain. Dig deeper and discuss your condition with your doctor to make sure that you will be able to identify the right exact cause/causes of your back pain.
