In today's exercise conscious world they have developed walking poles, they will give you some balance and support that the walker might need.

I think that they are a good way for the walker to become somewhat steadier and they give you some balance while you are doing your exercise.

If you have low back discomfort, walking is the best exercise that you can do. A healthy life for a 50+ can be gotten by walking.
