GENERAL
Arthritis is an inflammation of the joints. Arthritis pain occurs when moving or lifting heavy objects. Joints lose their mobility and swell changing shape. The skin over the joint is red, there could be a fever. Arthritis may begin abruptly or develop gradually. Causes of arthritis are unknown. Arthritis can be a separate disease or a manifestation of another disease. Diseases of the joints can be divided into degenerative and inflammatory. When arthritis strikes tissues gradually degenerate and accompanied by pain, limited mobility, deformity and crunching motion.

RISK FACTOR
Every hundredth person develops arthritis. Of all ages the most often it strikes women, middle-aged and elderly people. Eighty percent of people over 65 suffer from arthritis. Risk factors for arthritis include people who are: smokers, overweight, allergic, professional sportsmen etc.

IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
If you do not go to the doctor you could lose your mobility and severe pain. In the late stages arthritis is sometimes required time-consuming operation to replace cartilage, complete or partial joint replacement. The prosthetic joint operations performed successfully for long time it should be considered as an extreme measure. Progress in medical treatments allows the slow down the development of arthritis at an early stage. When you see symptoms of arthritis such as pain in the spine or joints, you should realize that their damage is constantly evolving.

Arthritis is unpredictable disease, so the joints affected by arthritis, may at any time irrevocably change its structure which, in turn, may lead to real disability. Symptoms of arthritis require an urgent visit to the doctor. If it is not too late, pain may go away and joints could be restored. An important requirement is to avoid recurrence of inflammatory activity. Arthritis requires long-term treatment, ongoing medical monitoring and specific prevention measures. If formed arthritis is bad and prevent you from jogging, jumping, tennis, weight lifting. Do not do it through the pain.

Formula "no pain no gain" does not work with arthritis. It is useful to engage exercises like stretching muscles, dosage walking, swim lessons at the gym under the supervision of an instructor and without heavy load on the joints. Please take arthritis seriously. Take it from the first hands. Arthritis runs in my family. My sister lives with pain for the last 15 years. My wife just had a hip replacement. Arthritis strikes my hands and my fingers are deformed. I've started to visit specials and hope he can help me with my fight against arthritis. I just hope that it is not too late. And one more thing - watch your diet! It is harmful to eat animal fats and flour products to name a few.
Recently I came across "The Precision Study" which is for people who have osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. While in a study you will receive at no charge:

* Arthritis pain medication (celecoxib, ibuprofen or naproxen)
* Medical Care by doctors
* Newsletters about living with arthritis

Study provides 12 study visits over 42 month. If for any reason you can not take medications, the study doctors still will follow up with you for all 12 visits.

Sounds like good deal to me!
Check it out and good luck.
