A group of joint disorders is an overall medical term for arthritis. The bodily joints are surrounded by a layer of cartilage. Aiding in motion, this cartilage is a kind of protective lubricant. Pain in the joints is caused by damage to the cartilage that surrounds each joint. With more than one hundred types of arthritis, symptoms can greatly vary. However, in order to help detect arthritis here a few general symptoms that people can look for.

One of the most common symptoms is persistent joint pain. If when moving or doing certain activities that can range from writing, walking, throwing or even standing up the pain in the joints worsens, then that is another sign of arthritis. Over 355 million people worldwide are suffering from some form of arthritis. Arthritis comes with over 100 variations of rheumatoid disease, early detection and treatment of rheumatoid disease helps to cure arthritis before the disease causes any permanent or severe joint damage. There are several early warning signs of arthritis. First symptom is swelling in one or more joints. In fact joint swelling can be caused by many factors. Arthritis could be one of the factors responsible for swollen joints. The swelling joints that caused by arthritis mainly due to fluid accumulates in the joints and resulting in painful terminal inflammation. Next symptom is the early-morning stiffness. People encounter stiffness in and around joints especially in the early morning. The stiffness may lasts from a few minutes to an hour in early stage and duration increase as the time passes. People should pay attention to this sign and get the medical advice because stiffness is one of early warning signs of arthritis. Next is the recurring pain or tenderness in any joint. People feel abnormal pain and tenderness at the body joints; the pain comes and goes from time to time. It is better for everyone to get early diagnosis of the cause of these abnormal pains; the pains can be caused by any potential diseases and arthritis is one of highly potential causes. Hence people should not look lightly if they encounter any pain and tenderness occurs on their body joints.

The other symptom is inability to move a joint normally. Sometime fatigue or excessive exercise can cause inability to move a joint easily or normally. Under this condition, it is temporary and it gets recover after a while. But, if the inability to move a joint normally is unexplained, it should trigger the alert on the potential arthritis. Obvious redness and warmth in a joint is another symptom of Arthritis. Redness and warmth in a joint can be a sign of arthritic inflammation. If people found they have these symptoms, should consult a physician for early diagnosis. Unexplained weight loss, weakness or fever, combined with joint pain.

People feel their body is very weak and tired, in additional to that they frequently have fever and their body weight loss unexplained. Their body has given them sign about something wrong with their body. If these symptoms are combined with joint pain, then it is likely they have faced some form of arthritis.
