How To Recognize Arthritis
9/26 15:43:26
The symptoms arthritis may vary depending on the type of disease that you have. It is most common in people of older age but it can affect people of all ages. When it occurs people may feel excruciating pain or sudden burst of pain. There are three main types. These types are rheumatoid, osteoarthritis, and gout. All of these types share signs but they are very different. Each of these types can cause pain in different areas of the body and effect different people. Although all of these types may share common signs, some warnings may differ.

The most common symptoms are pain and stiffness. If you are experiencing pain and stiffness in your joints the chances are that you may have this crippling disease. It is also associated with swelling, redness, and decrease in range of motion. You can experience these signs at any time of day, but it is most common at night or when you first awake. The evidence of arthritis is most severe during cold weather, and many say they worsen with the rain. Other warnings of it are sudden pain and pain accompanied by fever. When experiencing any of these symptoms it is recommended that you call a doctor.

Sometimes children that develop painful rashes on their chest, knees, wrists, and ankles may have a type. If these reactions are accompanied by fever swings, rapid weight loss, and poor appetite the child may be experiencing a type of disease called juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. This type can cause bone erosion or joint deformity. It can also be found in adults. Adults commonly experience pain in the joints of the hands, wrists, or knees. This pain is caused from the immune system attacking itself. When the immune system attacks itself it causes joint lining to swell. When the lining of the joints swell tissue, cartilage, and bone can be destroyed.

Osteoarthritis on the other hand is most dominate in people of the older generation. This type is a disorder that wears down the joints over time. These symptoms will start out small and gradually worsen. The main symptom of osteoarthritis is pain in joints, most commonly in the hand, hip, knees, lower back, and neck.

The last type we are going to discuss is gout. This occurs because the body is not properly eliminating the natural substance uric acid. When uric acid builds up in the body it forms crystals in the joints. This crystal has been known to cause severe pain. The pain is most commonly experienced in the toes, knees and wrist joints. Grout can cause excruciating pain and bring tears to the eyes.

As previously stated, there are many different symptoms of this crippling disorder. The signs can vary between types; however the most common things are the same. Many people live with arthritis and deal with the pain on a daily basis. This is a severe disorder and should be taken serious. Preventative measures should be taken to avoid it, but most people do not think about it until it is too late.
