Finding a Reputable Arthritis Foundation
9/23 15:21:58

Arthritis is really not a single disease, but rather an umbrella term that is used to cover over 100 different diseases. Any part of the human body can become inflamed or painful as a result of arthritis, and although most types of arthritis are common there are two which are particularly so, and those are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Osteoarthritis results from wear and tear as the physical pressure has an effect on the body, and rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease that occurs when the body’s own immune system mistakenly attacks the cell lining inside of the joint.

Because of the commonality of arthritic conditions, it makes sense as to why there are so many options when it comes to finding an arthritis foundation. An organization is considered as being an arthritis foundation when they are based around the disease of arthritis and on helping those who are suffering from the condition.

Arthritis Foundation

One of the top Arthritis foundation centers is the self titled Arthritis Foundation. They are actually recognized for being the only national non-profit organization that is available which supports the over 100 different types of arthritic conditions.

They are also the largest non-profit contributor to arthritis research in the world, and they partner with other organizations in the fight against this incredibly common and serious condition.

The National Arthritis Foundation is another Arthritis foundation is another great option here. They are registered as being a charitable body, and recognized for being the largest public organization in Singapore that is devoted to helping arthritis sufferers and their families. Their vision is to care for arthritis patients, advocate against arthritis, research to fight arthritis and ultimately find a cure, and to educate people around the world on the condition and how it works.

It is estimated that the National Arthritis Foundation presently has an estimated 1000 members from all different walks of life, and they have three volunteer support groups under their belt, which are The Singapore Ankylosing Spondylitis Club, The Juvenile Arthritis Club, and the Juvenile Lupus Club.

Remember that these and all of the other arthritis centers around the world depend almost solely on our support as a nation to survive. Donate as much time and money as you can to these organizations because they need all of the help and support that they can. The only way that they will ever be able to find a cure for arthritis is if they are given donations because this is the only way to fund and back up their research.
