Question
I would like to know if you can tell me more about the Sinuvertebral Nerve and its functions. I have disc herniation from L3-L5 and grade 4 annulus tear, and was told that the nerve that is causing all the pain going down my leg is this nerve. I would like to know if this nerve has anything to do with the tibal nerve, See I have a knot on the ankle bone and recently it has gotten much worse to the point i can barely walk,it hurts to flex, or even bend my toes.Ihave looked for many maps of the bodies nerves but have not been able to see the path of the sinuvertebral nerve and its true function. If you can suggest anything please let me know Thanks!!

Answer
Hello Betty,

Sorry for the delay, I found the following website that has a whole lot of information. Check it out, I think it will be helpful for your situation. I added the second address because it has info specifically about the Sinuvertebral nerve. I really hopes this helps you out.  Sincerely, Ken
