Question
Hi Karen,

Have just come across this site and am interested in herbal and therefore relatively safe (when compared to drugs) treatment.

I have cervical disc disease and 3,4,5 are crumbling.  I had six months off a couple of years ago - no neck pain but excruciatng arm pain.  I get flare ups now and live with constant and chronic pain - some low level some really bad.

I try not to take pain killers or anti-inflamatories and have been getting good releif with accupuncture, and a pain pen.

My consultant referred me to a pain clinic and I have had two cortistone injections - not much good - next stage is an epidural.

Dont want to go down this or any other road - any ideas?

Really grateful to you for help, particularly as I realise your reason for being able to contribute to something like this is your own pain.  I just hope helping others has its own pay back in that making you feel better, eases your own pain a bit.

Thank you

Christine

Answer
Dear Christine,

Valerian is a very effective herbal pain reliever.  Cat's Claw is a very effective herbal anti-inflamatory.

I would encourage you to visit my website at http://www.grannyherb.com/

If I may be of further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best Regards,
Karen
