Question
I am a triathlon athlete, but in my off season I started practicing tennis to share more time with my kids, After that I started suffering a lower abdominal pain ( over my groin )that increase when I try to run or increase my running pace. What exercise should I do to strength that area and avoid the pain.

Answer
Hi Jose and thanks for writing,

Classical Pilates is the absolute best exercise i know to strengthen your core strength. I would advise finding a personal trainer who is trained in Classical Pilates and avoid those big gyms and fitness classes that line up 20-30 people on mats; Pilates must be taught in classes not larger than four people to be done properly (or course one on one is always the best, at least for the first four classes to get to know the basics).

I hope it works for you, I'm sure you'll feel the difference after just two sessions.

Wishing you all the best,

Margot
