Question
do "poor vision" and "low vision" mean the same? are these terms used interchangeably? mines about 6/30 in both eyes.is it considered low or poor vision?

Answer
"Poor vision" is not a technical term. It's just like saying "bad vision." The official title is "low vision." "Low vision" is most commonly associated with people who are "legally blind" and who need aids and devices. Now "legally blind" is 20/200 (6/60), or higher, in America. I cannot speak for any other countries, because I am not sure if the 20/200 cut off is universal.
