Question
my daughter has spinal cord injury which happened during a breech birth.  two therapists told her she has a left hip out of joint. we would like to know if a chiropractor could fix it without surgury.

Answer
Wow, now that is a new one!  When I was in school, I heard docs in the field talk about cases like this.  Many infants are born with a hip out of position, and yes, a chiropractor may be able to help, but that is one that would require a good pair of eyes on to see if it was 1) possible and 2) in the scope of practice for a chiropractor in your state.

This is a situation that would require you to specifically talk to the doc in question. I would recommend a pediatric chiropractor in this case.  This link may help you more:

Good luck and let me know if this helps.
