Question
Hi. I am interested in starting hytha yoga and have been diagnosed with end plate sclerosis, anterotisthesis
L1 comp.30 %
L-4,5 max tnnderness L5-S1
T-11 & 12 narrowing
Degenerative changes C-5&6,  6 & 7

Should I start YOGA training with a very known and safe instructor?

As a safe beginner or will it be too much for my present spinal condition?

I am 62 male, 187 lbs, and exercise daily and healthy Otherwise

I can't provide you with individual, specific recommendations for exercise or therapeutic interventions, since I am not your clinician and I don't have the benefit of knowing your entire clinical picture, but as a general observation, I note that you describe an anterolisthesis, presumably of your lumbar spine.

Regarding anterolistheses, movements or positions that induce extreme flexion in the spine (lower back) are probably not a good idea, since the vertebra is already displaced in a forward (or anterior) position.

You should address questions regarding the appropriateness of a specific exercise regimen to your health care provider.
