Question
I recently had my second child and worked out and did way too much while pregnant.  After my first child I felt pain in my hip flexor, but continued to work through it.  By the end of my pregnancy with my second child it was excruciating and I chalked it up to being pregnant.  Now its so unbearable I can not walk on some days.  The pain changes. Sometimes its in the back of my leg between my buttock muscle and pelvic joints, but a lot of times its centered in my hip flexor and pelvic joins and a little across my lower abdomen.  I have trouble moving as I did before my pregnancy.  I can't run, I can't really do any aerobics and even just walking hurts.  I want to see a chiropractor, but I'm not sure if I'm dealing with muscle or skeletal issues.  Although, I'm pretty sure adjustments will always help.  The pain is also now stemming down to my knees and ankles from compensating for hip. Any advice is appreciated.

Answer
I answered this question when it was first asked but I received a message that it was still waiting to be answered. If you did receive my first answer please disregard.  I would still see a chiropractor. I would suggest an MRI of the lower back and the affected hip evaluated. It can be an issue with both regions. Both can still be treated by a good chiropractor to start with.
