Question
Dr Biggs, just received a response saying you previously answered my question. And suggested things I could try.I never got that response.

Answer
Dear Dee,

I am sorry that you didn't get the answer. Here is a copy of what I sent earlier.

Dr. Biggs

Dear Dee,

I am sorry that you are having such trouble with your neck.  I don't know what you have done as far as imaging or studies in the past, but perhaps this is where you need to begin.  Injuries to the neck can be very complicated.  X-rays will show you some things, but are not very detailed. An MRI of the neck is likely what you will require, especially if you are experiencing nerve damage or injury.

If I were you, I would not seek help from a chiropractor at this point. I would visit a medical doctor, either a pain specialist or a neurologist. The goal is to get a good diagnosis so that you can then make decisions as to what you want to try to do to get relief or help.  Without a good solid diagnosis, any attempt at treatment is just speculation.

I wish that I had a perfect answer for you, but if doctors who are examining you are giving you a variety of answers, imagine how impossible it is for me to give you a good diagnosis when I have never seen you before.   Ask around to your friends, or perhaps your primary care medical doctor for specialists that can help.

Good luck Dee. I hope that you feel much better soon.  Hang in there.
