Question
Hi I have Sarcoid. I was also just told that I have arthritis. They have tested me and I am waiting the results because it is either RA or Sarcoidosis Arthritis. They I know are treated the same but what is the difference between the two. Thanks

Answer
Christine,

Scarcoidosis is an inflammatory disease marked by the formation of granulomas (small nodules of immune cells) in the lungs, lymph nodes, and other organs.

RA is an auto-immune disease that effect the joints and can effect various organs.

Here is a good article about sarcoidosis.
