Question
I know  I have this blood group (HLA B27) since I'm 30. I'm now 45 ... and the rhumatism crisis are closer each year. It begins to handicap me with back "pain" along the rachis
and then all the muscles are contracted.... Is there  any other solution than taking medications such as OLFEN 75 or Brufen for a while untill the inflamation  decrease ? I also
get to see what we call in Switzerland a "rebouteux" who press the muscles with a stick of
wood untill the muscle is no longer hard... It hurts but then I can sleep well again. I also do some Shia Tsu and massage with a friend physioterapist specialist. Do you
recommand any other treatment for this kind of disease ? Or any kind of food to avoid?
Thanks for help"

Answer
Viellard,

There are many drugs you can take besides Olfen 75and Ibuprofen.  You should talk with your doctor about the options. Here is a link to a site that list all nine categories of drugs that are take for arthritis.

Omega 3 fatty acids are also an option. They are a natural type of anti-inflammatory that has many health benefits. Omega 3 does not work as fast as drugs but when taken every day can lower the number of rheumatic episodes you experience. Here is some more information about Omega 3

Cetyl Myristoleate is another supplement that works well at helping control inflammation. Though it may be hard to find in your country. Here is some more information about CM.
