Pomegranate Cake

Pomegranate juice is an excellent source of folic acid, Vitamin C, polyphenols, amino acid (basic of a healthy body) etc. Pomegranate can keep your skin healthy & young. It can control your bad cholesterol level & also lower your blood pressure. Pomegranate has the potential to fight against cancer. It can even improve your immunity system. It has proved that it is a helpful remedy for heart patients. For osteoarthritis it’s an excellent remedy.


Ingredients:
Pomegranate juice- 1 cup
Cake flour- 1 cup
Baking powder- 1 tsp
Egg (large)- 2
Sugar (white)- ¾ cup
Confectioners’ sugar- to garnish the top
Direction:
Take an 8 inch square baking pan & cover with non-stick foil.
In another bowl mix cake flour & baking powder together. Keep separately.
In a medium bowl add eggs & beat well (until you get the foamy look).
Gently add ¼ cup sugar & stir well to mix properly.
Pour cake flour mixture & pomegranate juice alternatively. Beat the whole mixture properly to mix well.
Transfer the mixture in the ready baking pan.
Bake it for 30-40 minutes (until you get the light brown colour) in the baking oven, preheated to 350 degree F.
Remove from the baking oven & allow it to cool.
Transfer the cake from baking pan into the serving plate. Sprinkle confectioners’ sugar on the top.
Cut into medium pieces & serve.
